Enhancements to Paperless Office Functions

These include the ability to set up paperless office delivery options, direct access to the Paperless Office Viewer, and improved printing performance to print a larger variety of reports and registers.

Easy Differentiation between Companies

Whether you have multiple companies, use a back-up company, or have test or demo companies, you can now color-code by company to make differentiation and visibility easier than ever.

More Core Accounting Features for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation

You can now retain prior selections for printing full comments in journals and registers. The general ledger detail report now gives an out of balance notification. There are enhanced sorting and selection options on audit reports including multi-column sorting. The vendor name has been expanded to allow up to 50 characters. These are just some examples of the extended features and functions within core accounting.

Extended Credit Card Payment Features

In order to minimize the risk of not getting paid, you can reauthorize a consumer’s credit card to process a second payment if the first has expired due to an unexpected delay. In addition, credit card processing now requires additional data to be sent in credit card transactions to make them more trustworthy. Third Party Payment processing allows customers to securely accept electronic payments.

Purchasing and Inventory Improvements

The purchase order history is modeled after sales order history, and copying purchase orders streamlines the purchasing process. Reports and printing have increased capabilities as well. Inventory management improvements have been added as well including that the last physical counts now update by item and item/warehouse.

More Control, Security, and Freedom

This includes new UI scripting and greater access to activity logs and role maintenance.

New Visual Process Flows in Various Menus

Various Visual Process Flows have been introduced with the 2015 version. These include manufacturing menu flows (production, disassembly, create/complete/close work orders), period end menu flows (accounts receivable and payable, inventory management, sales and purchase orders, and general ledger preparation), and chart of accounts menu flows (create accounts).

Affordable Care Act (ACA) Reporting Functions

This includes new crystal reports and employee maintenance for ACA reporting in payroll, electronic employee consent for ACA, monthly ACA details, and reports on covered individuals. Now there is everything you need for sufficient ACA reporting.

Greater Maintenance of Relationships with Customers through Increased Connections and Functions between CRM and ERP Systems

This includes one-step quote to order from Sage CRM and updated quick order entry style sheets consistent with Sage CRM’s look and feel.
